Getting Started

Use this guide to move from a fresh Stick Studio account to a workspace your team can rely on for browser-based design, image editing, and fast creative handoff.

Before you begin

  • Make sure you can sign in at stickstudio.app.
  • Have a few sample assets ready, such as an image, logo, or short clip, so you can test the editor properly.
  • Confirm who should own billing and admin permissions from day one.
  • Use a current version of Chrome, Safari, Edge, or Firefox for the smoothest setup experience.

Create or join a workspace

  1. Sign in to Stick Studio.
  2. Create a new workspace, or accept the invite sent to your email.
  3. Confirm your workspace name, primary contact, and any internal naming conventions you want to keep consistent.

Configure your workspace basics

Start with the settings that reduce cleanup later.

  • Set your workspace name and primary support contact.
  • Review default notifications so the right people get updates.
  • Confirm time zone and internal billing details if your team tracks costs centrally.

Invite your team

Add only the people you need for the first rollout, then expand once the workflow feels stable.

  • Invite teammates from your workspace or account settings.
  • Give admins to owners and operators, not every user.
  • Revoke stale invites before resending if an address was entered incorrectly.

Build your first canvas

Your first workspace should prove the core creative workflow, not mirror every real-world edge case.

  • Start with one simple design or image-editing task.
  • Add a few layers so you can test how images, text, shapes, or video behave together on the canvas.
  • Run one quick export to confirm output size, quality, and any transparent-background needs.
  • Agree on naming and handoff rules before the workspace grows.

Review billing early

Even if you are still on a trial, it is worth confirming the billing owner now.

  • Verify the active plan, renewal date, and seat count.
  • Add a payment method before you need to expand quickly.
  • Save invoice details somewhere your finance team can reach later.
  • [ ] Invite core teammates
  • [ ] Confirm owner and admin access
  • [ ] Review billing contact details
  • [ ] Test one complete canvas workflow from start to finish
  • [ ] Try one image cleanup or background-removal pass
  • [ ] Save the support contact page for your team

Best practice

Keep your first workspace small and deliberate. A clean initial setup usually prevents the access and billing issues teams hit later.
